When washing cotton or mesh rugs, only ever use a cold water wash. Avoid hot or warm water. The use of water over the temperature of 40c will start to damage the binding and tends to shrink and cause the binding to bunch up.
It is not recommended for these rugs to be used in a clothes dryer, has the high heat can melt or damage the polypropylene bindings and straps.
Use a mild detergent in the wash to assist with washing and stain removal. To get really dirty marks out , pre-soak or a spot spray the area.
Always line dry your cotton/mesh rugs and ensure they are completely dry before use or storage.
